Tucker Declared 2007 Champion

Halifax, NS (September 11, 2007) – Maritime Pro Stock Tour Limited is pleased to declare Shawn Tucker of Fredericton, NB the 2007 CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour Champion.

A Supreme Court of Nova Scotia Justice denied today a recent injunction request. The injunction request prevented Maritime Pro Stock Tour Limited from declaring the 2007 CARQUEST Pro Stock Champion following the Parts For Trucks 200 Saturday night at Scotia Speedworld.

Awards from the $50,000 CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour points fund, including the winners $10,000 share, will be handed out at the year-end banquet to be held on October 27, 2007 at the Best Western Glengarry in Truro, NS.

The CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour visits four different race tracks in the three Maritime Provinces on the east coast of Canada: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Facilities are required to meet specific criteria for the CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour events; ensuring quality shows for the audience and the competitors.
