100 Rescheduled
Antigonish, NS (August 18, 2007) –
The Antigonish Mall 100 scheduled for Saturday,
August 18th at Riverside Speedway has been postponed
until Sunday. Rain fell all morning in James River
and the weatherman called for more rain and drizzle
all day, prompting the decision to reschedule for
Sunday.

The Antigonish Mall
is a development of Nova Construction Company
Limited. The Mall is located in what is known as the
Highland Heart of Nova Scotia. The mall is anchored
by 34,000 sq.ft. Canadian Tire. Included in our
tenant mix is a Sobeys Food Warehouse, Cleve’s
Sporting Goods and 76-room Hotel & Conference Center
situated on the parking lot. We are home to the
area's only Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation Outlet.
The addition of a 22000 sq ft annex and pad site for
Boston Pizza has been the latest additions. Along
with the on site services Antigonish Mall is on the
door step of STFX University where close to 4000
students call home from August to May each year. We
have just recently added a new 15000 sq ft Lawtons
Drug store along with two Medical Clinic. We have
also added OLS Call Centers with more than 350 call
center reps to be hired over the next couple of
years.
The CARQUEST Pro
Stock Tour visits four different race tracks in the
three Maritime Provinces on the east coast of
Canada: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward
Island. Facilities are required to meet specific
criteria for the CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour events;
ensuring quality shows for the audience and the
competitors.

The CARQUEST Pro
Stock Tour is operated by Maritime Pro Stock Tour
Limited and features a 10-race series at four
different tracks in the three Maritime Provinces.
Top drivers from all three provinces compete
including 2006 champion John Flemming and former
champions Rollie MacDonald, Shawn Tucker and Wayne
