Open Practice scheduled
Halifax, NS (April 25, 2007) – There will be an
open practice scheduled for Scotia Speedworld on
Sunday May 6, 2007 for all 2007registered cars,
except the Bandolero cars. They will have a separate
practice at a time and date to be announced.
Practice will take place on an alternate basis per
division. Thunder & Lightning cars will be run
together, depending on the car count. The exact time
for each division will be based on the number of
cars attending from each division. Pro Stocks and
Legends will practice from 11 am until 2 pm.
Sportsman, Hobby Stocks and Thunder & Lightning cars
will practice from 3 pm until 6 pm. Entry cost is
$5.00 per person and you must be 16 years old to
enter the pits.
The CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour visits five different
race tracks in the three Maritime Provinces on the
east coast of Canada: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and
Prince Edward Island. Facilities are required to
meet specific criteria for the CARQUEST Pro Stock
Tour events; ensuring quality shows for the audience
and the competitors.

The CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour is operated by Maritime
Pro Stock Tour Limited and features an 11-race
series at five different tracks in the three

provinces compete including 2006 champion John
Flemming and former champions Rollie MacDonald,
