Antigonish Mall 200 Announced
Antigonish, NS (July 21, 2006) – The
CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour and Riverside
Speedway are pleased to announce the
race scheduled for August 19th
will be a 200-lap event, entitled
The Antigonish Mall 200.
“Riverside speedway wanted to do
something special for the first race at
the refurbished Riverside and we thought
that was a great idea,” said Ken
Cunning, GM of the CARQUEST Pro Stock
Tout. “Hosting an extended lap race
acknowledges the time and effort in
re-building the track into a first class
facility. With the cooperation of the
track and sponsors, we were able to
create The Antigonish Mall 200. We are
confidant fans will be treated to a
great race on the high banks of
Riverside Speedway on August 19th.”
Pioneer
Coal will assume sponsorship of the
CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour 100-lap race
scheduled at Riverside Speedway on
September 16, 2006.

by Maritime Pro Stock Tour Limited and

Riverside Speedway is a
high-banked ¼ mile track in James River
at Exit 30 on highway 104, 15 kms west
of the town of Antigonish. The facility
will be entirely rebuilt, when the first
race of 2006 is run on August 19th.
