    Mylaps.com Online Tool Clarification
Mylaps.com is an online tool that can be used by fans and competitors alike to review driver speeds, lap times, and race results. There is also a lap chart on mylaps.com. Unfortunately, the lap chart is designed for races that score every lap, including yellow flag laps. The lap chart is based on individual transponders placed on each car and when that transponder crosses the start finish line the lap chart is updated. The lap chart only counts laps registered under green flag conditions. Since we do not score yellow flags, cars involved in a caution may have to be manually added by our scorers. These added laps are not shown in the lap chart. This also occurs when someone receives the “Back in the Race” award. Any adding of laps to competitors, which happens with virtually every caution flag on the CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour, is not shown on the lap chart. This is why, even though they were either involved in the yellow or given the back in the race award, cars can be shown a lap down on mylaps.com and are still scored with the leader.

Strategy Will Play Role In Saturday's Forbes 150 at Scotia Speedworld

HALIFAX, NS (July 2, 2008) - The Forbes Chev Olds 150 is the first of four extended length events on the 2008 CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour - and the first of four events where strategy will play just as big a part in the outcome of the race as will a good car and a good driver.

The "norm" on the series is a 100-lap feature race so the team and driver preparations are geared to finding the best combination for that distance. Adding another 50-laps affects a multitude of elements - mentally, physically and mechanically - that will ultimately determine who visits Victory Lane.
